  • Life is full of surprises and can be unpredictable at times. In order to provide the best service possible, I have implemented a cancellation policy that requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment changes.

Appointments that are canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled session will result in the full session fee being charged. I understand that unexpected events can occur.

I allow for up to two no-shows before we need to reassess the therapy arrangement.
If there are more than three no-shows, we will need to discuss whether therapy will continue. Please be aware that a full session fee will be charged for any no-shows.

  • I offer therapy services for individuals aged 18 and older.

  • I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, marital and relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma.

I am currently undergoing training in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Prepare/Enrich.

  • Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and are commonly scheduled on a weekly basis, particularly at the start of treatment. I am pleased to offer extended sessions lasting 90 minutes upon request. This option may be beneficial for those who are unable to attend weekly sessions, particularly at the beginning of their treatment.

It is important to keep in mind that sessions will conclude promptly at the scheduled time in order to honor the appointments of our other clients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Consistent weekly sessions can help you stay on track, remain committed, and make progress towards achieving your goals effectively. As therapy advances, we can collaboratively assess whether continuing with weekly sessions is beneficial for your ongoing growth and development.

  • During our 60 minute intake session, I will provide an overview of my therapeutic approach and establish clear expectations to ensure you feel informed and supported throughout the process. We will review necessary intake paperwork and address any questions or concerns you may have about therapy.

The remainder of the session will be dedicated to gathering information about your history and collaboratively setting goals for our work together. By the end of our first session, we will have a comprehensive understanding of your objectives and a plan for moving forward.

This initial meeting serves as an opportunity for me to familiarize myself with your unique circumstances and determine if our therapeutic relationship is a good fit. Together, we will establish concrete goals for therapy and develop strategies to begin working towards them.

  • Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
